As we continue to grow, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a Sales Support Executive to join our passionate and energetic team. This is a great role for someone who thrives on building strong relationships with customers, as the successful candidate will work closely with our internal teams to ensure the end-to-end management of customer renewals, sales, and tenders.
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire customer renewals process. You’ll proactively reach out to customers well in advance of contract end dates to discuss renewal options, address any concerns, and arrange technical meetings with the team, if necessary. Attention to detail will be key as you produce accurate and timely renewal quotes and ensure that all relevant information is collated for customer approval. You will oversee the processing of renewal contracts, maintaining strong customer relationships and high renewal rates.
Alongside renewals, you will be involved in responding to customer queries, providing accurate quotes for new customer leads, and supporting the processing of accepted quotes into contracts. You will also assist with tender completions, managing responses for approval and submission.
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships will be at the core of your role, ensuring they are always informed of the best solutions. You will engage with customers to identify potential opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, while participating in quarterly customer engagement to monitor relationships and discuss additional services that may be of interest.
What we need from you
We’re looking for someone with strong communication (both written and verbal), good admin skills and heaps of proactiveness.
Whilst managing renewals is a big part of the role, you will also enjoy reaching out to customers to offer new or additional services and supporting the sign-up process for these, so you’ll need confidence to take on ‘warm’ sales.
You’ll need to stay organised and have strong attention to detail with everything you do, ensuring timely processing of all renewal-related tasks, sales quotes, and tender submissions.
Strong problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to think ahead and find solutions, sometimes under pressure. Any previous experience with CRM systems will help you maintain accurate records and provide valuable insights into our performance through regular reporting.
All of the above will be underpinned by good computer skills, being able to use software to build quotes and be proficient in using the full Microsoft suite, including outlook, word and excel.
